A Message from Our Founder & CEO
For many across the country, today marks the one-month anniversary of an unprecedented lockdown of the American economy. Many of you are now working from home, attempting to collaborate and operate as best you can. Safeguarding the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and their families is the top priority for every business around the globe.
The impact on each business will be unique to your specific business model and industry. Uncertainty is never an environment in which to build and run a business. I know this as well as anyone, as I manage that responsibility for over 300 dedicated employees. We are all, literally, in this together and so Solix is adjusting to our customer’s needs for certainty in uncertain times.
During the Great Depression, the US invested in itself. The Hoover Dam, the Tennessee Valley Authority along with numerous bridges, roads, post offices, hospitals, and schools were built. In total, over 34 thousand projects were funded between 1933 and 1935. While we can’t predict how long this lockdown will be, or how long its impact will last, one thing we can be sure of is that a digital economy has been the main engine that has softened the impact for many businesses.
Now is the time to invest in the underlying data infrastructure, and Solix stands ready to do its part. Together, we can lay the foundation for the next hundred years, just as was done almost a century ago.
