Apache Hive-on-Spark Boosts Performance and Usability for Solix Big Data Suite

Solix Big Data Suite is now certified on Cloudera Enterprise

September 27, 2016 — New York, NY. — Solix Technologies, Inc. (www.solix.com), the leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Apache Hadoop, today announced support for Apache Hive-on-Spark during Strata + Hadoop World NY, improving performance and usability for the Solix Big Data Suite. In addition, Solix announced certification on Cloudera Enterprise.

Cloudera Enterprise delivers several new features to Solix Big Data Suite customers, including major performance improvements. Hive-on-Spark support provides improved performance for traditional data processing workloads running on Hadoop including enterprise archiving, enterprise data lake and batch analytics.
